Falling Behind

I've been neglecting my blog! I've just been so overly busy with things going on and now I'm getting ready to pack for a 2 week trip to Philly! I'm just so behind it isn't even funny! I will eventually get back into the swing of things!

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday! We spent it with friends and their family. It was a beautiful day and all the kids had a blast!

Sorry to make this so short & simple but I have loads and loads of laundry to get done and then I gotta pack all of our stuff! See y'all in a couple weeks!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

So I turned 30! I was sick about leaving the 20's but I am sure I will get over it. I just hate the whole aging process. :(

I had a pretty good day! We ended up finding the kids a free swing set on freecycle and while hubby was picking it up he also bought a couch off of them since they were selling everything so that they could move. It was a 2-year-old couch for a great price!! My mom and sister showed up with a birthday cake for me from The Bethel Bakery (YUMMY)!! So I had cake for lunch! LOLOLOL! When my mom got ready to leave my daughter burst into tears so my mom said she would take her overnight. :) Then we took the rest of the kids (I was babysitting all day) and they played on the slip-n-slide and on the new swing set. After they left I got ready and hubby took me out to dinner. We were going to go to the Olive Garden but they were toooooo packed and we didn't want to wait 2 hours to eat. So we headed over to Max & Ermas. It was so yummy and then they surprised me with an awesome banana cream pie dessert! So after today I think I need to do like 100 workout tapes in one day! :) My hubby got me tickets to go see THE LION KING musical! I'm so excited about that! We will be taking the kids also!!! It isn't for another 6 months but it is something that is great to look forward to! :)

HAPPY SUMMER

Happy Happy Summer to everyone! I was so excited that it was the first day of summer that I didn't get a chance to come on here until this late! :) But I just wanted to keep this short & sweet!! So, here is a goodie I have for you:

Summer is almost (officially) here!

YAY! Tomorrow is the first day of Summer!! I'm already wondering how it is going to be all summer trying to beat the heat! My two little squirts are forever wanting to be outside but I hate it during the middle of the day when the sun is blazing hot! And my poor son is soooo sensitive to the heat!

My hubby will be starting a job soon so he won't have any vacation at all for this summer which sucks. And talking about jobs todays TTS BLOG CHALLENGE is to share about your first summer job!

My first summer job was becoming a waitress at DENNY'S! :) LOL! I was never a waitress before but wanted to be so badly (I have no idea why). So, they hired me but since I had no waitress experience they had to hire me to clean tables but only had me do that a few days. It was company policy because any waitress hired there had to have some restaurant experience or they had to start out cleaning! LOL! So I did my few days of busting tables then made my way out to the floor and became one of their best waitresses there within a few days! So good they started asking me to do more and more! GO FIGURE! So I did a little bartending here and there (there was a bar connected to it because it was also connected to a hotel. So, that was my very first summer job! :) I did have a retail job but it wasn't a summer job! I did that during the year while I was in college but didn't stay there long!

Well, not I'm going to go give the kids a bath so they can be clean for their vacation bible school class tonight! They got nice and dirty from going fishing earlier today!

I'll be back tomorrow to wish everyone a HAPPY SUMMER and probably have a goodie for ya!

Just Another Manic Monday...

I don't wish it was Sunday though...I just wish I was on vacation somewhere! LOL! I don't know where the day went?? Seriously. I don't even remember most of it! I was here there and everywhere then tonight was the twins first day at bible school. I stayed at the church the whole time in an office and studied. At least I accomplished one thing for myself! LOL! Then I came home and have too much catching up to do! I had 452 e-mails and I had just cleaned out my e-mail last night!?! Then I also did something else...I took on a babysitting job! ACK! LOL! Sometimes I wonder about the things I get myself into! HEHE! But we need any extra money we can get and the three kids are "out of diapers" age!
